We went camping up in Pine Valley with Joey’s family last week. I was very proud of us because we are not camping people and yet we stayed the whole two nights even though the first night there was a thunder storm and the second night we had a puking child.
Yooohoooo! Hazel peeking out the doggie door
Luke caught a snake and was very sad that we made him let it go.
Hazel’s watermelon hat that Sylvia insisted was hers.
Isabel warming her feet.
Baby Hazy.
Sylvia got across the stream but couldn’t get back by herself.
Joey took the kids for a hike. (By the way, I had to call him Bear Grylls for a day because I made the mistake of doubting his boy scout fire starting skills.)
The resevior where the fishing happened.
Isabel and Sylvia both caught fish. Isabel named hers Rainbow and Sylvia named hers Diamond. (We ate Diamond that night.)
you are so much better than i. i refuse to camp, but you made it look like lots of fun. beautiful pictures too!!
I LOVE camping!! You all should come with us for Labor Day! It would be OUT-rageous!!!
I am jealous! That looked so beautiful. We had to sit on a crowded beach in San Diego with a million other people for the 4th of July and I would have taken Pine Valley over that any day.
Haha…I just noticed the title of the post (don’t know why I ddin’t see it earlier)…Camping is in tents…Justin loves saying that. (:
Just for the record, I had to start the fire with wet firewood. I should have made you call me “Mr. Grylls” for two days.
Hey, if you don’t love camping, you’re not doing it with the right people. You need to come out with us sometime…though we are more backpackers than car campers. Still, those are some great pics!
